Job Description

    We are a growing private practice looking for a full-time,long-term dental assistant to join our dental team.

    Ideal candidate is a trustworthy, dependable,enthusiastic, and self-motivated individual who works well with other team members and has a strong desire to grow with the practice.  Great patient care and communication skills with the ability to convey a positive, professional, and warm image with patient care is a priority.

 Additional skills required:
·      Well-versed with dental terminology and procedures
·      Familiar with Dentrix and VixWin
·      Must be comfortable taking digital radiographs with Dexis sensor
·      Detail-oriented, organized, and efficient with minimal supervision
·      Punctual
·      Quick to learn and open to instruction
·      RDA required
·      CPR certification required
·      Bilingual (Spanish) preferred, but not required
·      Coronal polishing certificate a plus, but not required
·      Nitrous oxide monitoring certification a plus, but not required

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
·      Assisting dentist with dental procedures
·      Sterilization of dental equipment
·      Tracking dental supply inventories and re-ordering supplies
·      Treatment plan presentations
·      Schedule & confirm appointments
·      Patient reception& dismissal
·      Maintain office cleanliness
·      Marketing
·      Assist front office when necessary (Front desk responsibilities such as answering the phone, scheduling patients, verifying patient insurance, presenting treatment plans, obtaining written treatment consent from patients, collecting payments)
·      Must have 1+ year of working as a RDA with ability to perform all aspect of general dentistry
